Oaklands Nursery has been the childcare provider to the communities of Salford, Prestwich, Swinton and beyond since 1991. They have established a reputation for delivering quality childcare and this is backed up by their Ofsted reports. The fact that the vast majority of their children have come to them through recommendations speaks volumes.
The nursery is housed in state of the art premises which have been designed and built to meet their own specifications and needs.
Oaklands Nursery was earlier being provided with their telephone systems and broadband for both their premises by a large telecom supplier, whose services they weren’t happy with. Their services lacked personalisation and aftercare. Being a nursery with children on the premises, a number of restrictions and high levels of caution had to be practised to maintain an infrastructure that is safe and compliant for children.
For the purposes of upgrading their telecommunications infrastructure, new cabling in both the premises was essential which demanded meticulous planning so as to keep cables and equipment out of harm’s way of the children, all the phones in the children’s barred from outgoing calls. Oaklands not receiving adequate support and confidence from their previous supplier contacted other suppliers including V4 Telecom.
After analysing Oakland’s requirements, as a common practice, V4 first dedicated a single point of contact cum account manager who understands client case from Day 1 before the account is signed and remains perennially available to help during and after installation.
V4 then proposed a carefully drafted plan that suggested a full upgrade of old digital phone systems with the latest and cost-effective IP Technology, upgrade to super-fast fibre broadband, fully managed routers and WiFi extension on both premises. Most importantly the plan drafted a safe and secure installation process including completely new cabling infrastructure that is compliant to children safety.
V4’s proposal and personalised one size do not fit all approach were much appreciated by the client and their complete telecommunications infrastructure was eventually handed over to V4’s care and responsibility.
